Sunspots, 22 September - 24 October 1978
Observations of sunspots, 22 September and 24 October 1978. Prinz 60 mm refractor used to project solar image. During the earlier observation, at least 40 sunspots could be discerned. Numbers were much reduced during the later observation but, in addition to sunspots, two white areas were visible on the solar surface, either side of the solar W cardinal point.
